The Plainly Stated

Terms of sale

The plain terms these goods are sold on.

Who you are buying from

The Plainly Stated, a trade name of a Missouri limited liability company (the seller’s full legal name and address are given on request: write to the address on the contact page). Goods are made to order and shipped to you by our print partners.

Prices and tax

Prices are in US dollars and are per item. Shipping and any sales tax are added at checkout and shown before you pay. Tax is worked out from your delivery address. The total on that page is the amount charged.

Your order

You place the order when your payment succeeds. We may cancel and fully refund an order we cannot fulfil, for example an obvious pricing error or an item that can no longer be made.

Returns

Our returns policy is part of these terms and covers misprints, damage, defects and cancellations.

Privacy

Our privacy page says what we keep about an order and how we count visits to this site.

The artwork

The designs belong to The Plainly Stated. Buying a shirt gets you the shirt, not the rights to reprint the drawing. Where a product page carries a credit line, the sources named there are credited as they ask.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live. If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is the amount you paid for the order.
